Proventia Content Security Solutions Meet Augsburg District Office's Requirements
Overview Germany's Augsburg District Office is responsible for the fulfillment of the district Parliament's governmental decisions, as well as those of its committees. They needed to curb the flood of spam clogging their network, as well as limit access to non business-related Web sites. Once Augsburg installed Proventia Mail Filter, they were able to reduce the spam that made up more than 20 percent of the e-mail they received every day. ISS' Proventia Mail Filter showed the Augsburg District Office's IT department just how much spam had been clogging their inboxes: more than 20 percent of the e-mail messages arriving daily had been spam.
