Spyware Removal Using Ad-Aware

Overview Spyware, also known as adware (advertising supported software), secretly gathers information about you while you are surfing the Internet and transmits the information to an individual or company that uses it for marketing or other purposes. Besides transmitting private information, as spyware accumulates, it can slow your computer's speed to a slow crawl. You may see excessive popups. Your homepage can be changed and you may see new toolbars in your browser. Spyware can even download software on your computer without your permission.
