LDAP Directories

Overview This market comprises vendors selling server-based products used as repositories of information about people or objects for authentication, identity verification, or lookup. Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP) directories are used primarily in authentication services to enable access to network-based resources or applications, and are differentiated from generic directories by the use of LDAP standards for access and use.
