KPIT Cummins Customer Case Study
Overview The customer was a global power leader in US that designs, manufactures, distributes electric power generation systems, engines, and related technologies including fuel systems, controls, air handling, filtration, and emissions solutions. The customer wanted to get a single integrated website developed, using J2EE standards with improved features and validation techniques. The new site will have multi-lingual templates, direct data transfer into the Oracle database, data capturing in English, multi-level security, advanced reporting etc. facilities. Entire data sources were consolidated into a single pool for ease of data management. MVC framework was chosen for ease of navigability and localization. It also helped to separate the business logic from the presentation logic.
