TCS Provided the Client With a VoIP Framework to Develop a Cost-Effective Telephony Product
Overview The client is in the business of providing telecom solutions based on the conventional PSTN network, by converging their networks and taking advantage of VoIP. The client’s requirements were simple user interface, low cost of service delivery, universal access of service, value-added services at lower cost. To achieve the client's requirements, TCS provided the client with a VoIP framework, consisting of a set of different libraries, and TCS PICKnUSE concept. Using this framework, TCS was able to deliver VoIP applications at short notice, thus reducing the time to market for the client. The product developed has a full duplex speaker phone, volume control for headset, call log for billing, last number redial, call waiting, call transfer, and roaming ability.
