Army Reserve - 88th Regional Support Command
Overview The U.S. Army Reserve's 88th Regional Support Command (88th RSC) was established in 1996. Like many organizations, the 88th RSC faced numerous challenges that accompany lack of standardization in the Information Technology (IT) area. Exceptional growth and rapid deployment of the Army Reserve Network (ARNet) across a broad geographic area combined to create a challenging environment. Across its 150 locations, the RSC found there were no uniform configurations, making software upgrades and technical support a labor-intensive task. The 88th RSC is taking advantage of Dell's Custom Factory Integration (CFI) and Imaging Management Services (IMS). CFI is a service that loads a customer's images onto all new systems.
