How to... Loop Over Reference Data in Fox Formulas
Overview In a BW-BPS planning project a customer is planning his profit and loss statement. The users have to plan for a number of products the sales quantities per country as well as the prices that are independent of the country. As the data for the sales quantity and for the prices should not be locked this data has to be used as reference data in the formula. The problem that arises now is that when running the formula there is no data yet in the selection and therefore a "Foreach" statement in a formula cannot be used. This paper looks into detail why this is the case and how one can get around that problem.
