Porting Solution for WAP Browser to Mobile Phone

Overview Wipro's client is a Japanese mobile phone manufacturer. The challenge was understanding the mobile architecture, had to interact with the browser vendor for many issues that came up during the development/testing phase, optimization for minimum screen refresh to increase the speed and customizing the text input modules. Wipro designed and implemented the software according to the specific mobile phone architecture and tested using the browser provider's automated online test suite hosted using WAP site. Time-to-market solution was available.
