Overview Adaptec is the world's leading provider of data storage access solutions. Adaptec needed to reduce spending on costly software licenses and hardware resources without negatively impacting the productivity of the engineers who used them. The challenge was to spend less on redundant resources without sacrificing service levels or resource availability and balance global demand for engineering resources with the global supply of software licenses and hardware. Adaptec used Platform Intelligence to measure license allocation and usage.
