Device Programming: MIDP for Palm, Motorola i85s

Overview MIDP, a Java Community Process (JCP) project, is a specification (currently in version 1.0) that is designed to provide a Java platform for wireless devices such as cell phones and two-way pagers. This paper explains how to write a Java application for the Palm OS-based PDAs and the i85s phones from Nextel/Motorola, all of which support Mobile Information Device Profile (MIDP). After reading this paper, developers will be able to develop and deploy MIDP applications for these devices.
