IBM's Pervasive Computing unit has responsibility for creating e-business solutions that leverage the new class of connected client devices such as handheld Internet appliances and screen phones. BM's Global Travel & Transportation Industry Solutions unit provides a broad range of products, services and integrated solutions to all segments of travel and transportation, including airlines, hotels, other travel-related services, rail and freight logistics.
