Data Takes Off in Real Time at Delta
Overview In the past, 13 Delta business units accessed information stored on 30 separate customer databases and 40 flight databases, using 70 applications. Although a new piece of data might be critical to several databases and applications, Delta had no way to, automatically share data between them without human intervention. TIBCO's business integration solution provides Delta with a real-time platform for data integration from multiple sources; tightly linked business processes; messaging; adapters for legacy, packaged, and third-party applications; and enterprise-wide monitoring and management.
