Justice Network: Creating a Secure, Integrated Source of Justice Intelligence
Overview Commonwealth of Pennsylvania had the challenge for consolidating sensitive information from disparate agencies and making it accessible via a secure online resource. Commonwealth of Pennsylvania developed the Justice Network (JNET), a Web-based system for linking the state's justice system and allowing access to the information across 36 counties. JNET turned to VeriSign for Managed PKI. Without having to focus on security, JNET developers have more time to work on improving the design, response time, and capacity of the system. The system now receives all network updates on a routine basis.
