Elsist Saves Six Months of Development Time Using Objective Edit and Objective Toolkit Pro

Overview Elsist offers hardware and software for industrial automation. The company designs and manufactures microprocessor systems and develops PC- and PLC-based software to program them. Elsist needed to upgrade their product called Remoter, an Integrated Development Environment (IDE) used to program and generate code for their Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) systems. The challenge was to port the existing DOS IDE to Windows 95 and Windows NT as quickly as possible. Elsist chose to use Rogue Wave Objective Edit and Rogue Wave Objective Toolkit Pro to develop the IDE. Using these powerful components from Rogue Wave's Stingray Division, Elsist was able to save six months of coding time while building an integrated, versatile, and fully customizable product.
