Munich Airport Manages ITIL-Based IT Infrastructure Using Remedy

Overview Munich Airport is a leader in German air transportation. It is one of the fastest-growing hubs in Europe and the world, with domestic flights already exceeding passenger numbers at Frankfurt Airport. Managing all of these systems and automating them to the greatest possible extent was one of the key aims for Munich. Munich decided to use Remedy's Action Request System (AR System) as the central configuration database and workflow engine for the disparate management systems involved in the airports operations. It offered a substantial part of the required functions and, on top of that, proved highly suitable for expansion and integration to their numerous applications.
