Legal Liability: The Computer Pest Imperative ...

Overview Does your company have customers or employees in California? Chances are you do. And if so, the private data you hold on them is about to become more valuable and your incentive to safeguard that data has risen. Effective July 2003, anyone holding private electronic data on a California resident is required to give that person formal notice if the security of the data is compromised - or even suspected to have been compromised.
