Feature Development of Orderwire for a OC-192 Rate Product

Overview Orderwire provides voice channel for communications during equipment installations and upgrades, and also for maintenance while identifying network fault conditions. There was a need to introduce Orderwire over SONET/SDH in "OC-192 broadband optical cross-connect" which is predominantly used in Metro Networks, as an enhancement to the product. Communication channels were established with various client groups during the life cycle of these features such as OC-192 software Design team, Verification team, Load build team and the test bed team.
