wilhelm.tel Shoots Straight With NetEnforcer's Peer-to-Peer Control

Overview wilhelm.tel is a provider of cable TV, ISP and telephony services to 28,000 households in a 581 Km2 region. As an increasing number of home users opt for high-speed Internet, wilhelm.tel was facing phenomenal growth in both traffic volume and in content. It became increasingly difficult to maintain their profitable business model as they struggled to meet upstream and downstream rates of up to 5 Mbps. wilhelm.tel decided to test Allot Communications NetEnforcer AC-1000 Series traffic management device, the company's carrier-grade product. NetEnforcer AC-1000 was used to smooth the number of new connections per second on the CMTS. The NetEnforcer enabled wilhelm.tel to decrease collisions and short packets.
