Seamless Handoff of Mobile Terminal From WLAN to cdma2000 Network

Overview Future wireless Internet access will be dominated by 3G wide area cellular networks and hot-spot wireless LANs. According to one vision, these technologies will complement each other to provide ubiquitous high-speed wireless Internet connectivity to mobile users. In such environment, it will be required to support inter-technology handoffs of mobile terminals without causing disruption to their ongoing Internet sessions. This paper proposes a solution for seamless handoff from wireless LAN to cdma2000 network.
