DNS Name Service Based on Secure Multicast DNS for IPv6 Mobile Ad Hoc Networks

Overview This paper proposes an architecture of secure DNS system, which can provide mobile nodes in IPv6 mobile ad hoc network with secure name-to-address resolution and service discovery. Because mobile ad hoc network has dynamic topology, the current DNS is inappropriate for name service in mobile ad hoc network. This paper suggests the design and implementation of secure DNS system based on multicast, which is suitable for mobile ad hoc network.
