A Hybrid Model for Wireless Mobility Management Using IPv6

Overview Within the coming decade, there will be a dramatic increase in the availability of inexpensive, computationally powerful mobile devices running applications, which use the Internet Protocol (IP) to access multimedia services over broadband wireless connections. To this end, there has been extensive research and standardization in the areas of Mobile IP and IPv6. The purpose of this paper is to apply this work to the issues involved in designing a mobility model able to adapt to different wireless mobile IP scenarios.
