Sun Services Creates Secure, High Availability Data Center With Sun Fire Servers

Overview DaimlerChrysler Consult Graz GmbH (DCCG) an IT provider demands maximum security for its IT resources. DCCG needed to upgrade its Vignette-based CMS software as well as the solution's underlying infrastructure. Because DCCG's business plan anticipated a doubling of users over the next few years - outside customers as well as internal users - the organization decided to revamp its CMS software and supporting hardware platforms. DCCG turned to Sun Services for help with the project. Sun delivered its Sun Managed Services offering, beginning with a data center assessment and then definition of new roles within DCCG's IT department, including the designation of a fulltime person to manage changes to internal processes.
