Hitachi Storage at Work Case Study: ScanLab
Overview ScanLab, a subsidiary of the LTC development laboratory, was established in France in 1998 to provide film development and printing services to the film and media industry. ScanLab recently implemented a high performance storage architecture using Hitachi Data Systems' Thunder 9200. ScanLab's new architecture, based around the Thunder 9200, enables them to store up to 3TB of digitised images and the new capability they have acquired places ScanLab right at the very cutting edge of cinematographic production.
