Banking Customer Meets High-Volume Printing Requirements
Overview In the banking industry, banks are required to print the customer's monthly statement information and when requested, it must be able to print images of processed checks. Faced with this challenge, the bank turned to Ricoh Printing Systems America, Inc. (Ricoh) for a digital printing solution that would employ the proper compression methods to enable them to turnout statements and checks in high-volume, without any slowdown between the demand and the print job. Ultimately, the bank decided to install a Ricoh DDP 70e digital printer, using a standard Ethernet TCP/IP interface, with a fully optimized software package to support print-on-demand applications and check imaging printing.
