Developer Platforms: Guidelines for Testing J2ME Applications
Overview Testing is an important part of application development. This paper lists fundamental issues that must be taken into account when testing J2ME/MIDP applications (MIDlets). Issues presented in this paper are useful for all MIDlets in general, for Series 40, Series 60, and Series 90 Developer Platforms, if not stated otherwise. Because of the style of this document, it can also be used as a guideline when designing and developing Java 2 Platform, Micro Edition (J2ME) applications. It is important to test both the functionality and the usability of an application to ensure that the application is easy and efficient to use, and keeps the end user satisfied.
