Cisco Packet Telephony Center Virtual Switch (PTC VS)

Overview Cisco PTC VS provides the carrier-class network-management functionality, scalability and reliability required by telecommunications service providers like virtual entity concepts and management, multi-user support, multithreaded programming for scalability, and web browser based client access. Cisco PTC VS is a carrier-class service and network management system that provisions tandem softswitch, the virtual-packet-voice-switch connection between the Public Switched Telephone Network (PSTN) and VoIP service provider networks. As the voice domain manager, Cisco PTC VS provides the foundation for fault, configuration, accounting, performance, and security (FCAPS) capability, thus enabling service providers to deliver a comprehensive end-to-end management solution.
