A World of Colour
Overview Alpha Retail has been using shelf-edge pricing for many years, especially within the traditional duty free environment. Goods are stacked in bulk with an overriding price label in front, removing the necessity to provide individual labelling and presenting a much stronger price message to the customer. Making these labels as colourful and as eye-catching as possible is the next logical step. Alpha Retail approached Eastman-POS, for advice on moving its labelling operation in-house. Acting upon the recommendation of Eastman-POS, Alpha Retail invested in a series of EPSON Aculaser C900 colour laser printers, along with a net.tickIT software package developed by Eastman-POS.
