Overview BMW Motoren GmbH in Steyr, Austria, is the BMW Group's largest engine plant and the site of its diesel center of competence where all BMW diesel engines are designed. Back in 1997, BMW Motoren GmbH in Steyr, Austria significantly improved the efficiency of its stock control and transport management when it installed the SAP Logistics Execution System (SAP LES). Since February 2000, the BMW plant has been using SAP's radiofrequency functions for mobile data entry and has significantly improved its physical processes.
