Overview LibertyHealth of New Jersey is the parent, not-for-profit governing organization of eight healthcare subsidiaries, including the Jersey City Medical Center and two other hospitals. Foregoing expensive repairs to the 10 buildings of its Jersey City Medical Center campus, LibertyHealth decided to build a new, more compact facility. As part of this initiative, med center managers wanted to build a digital storage facility for lifesaving x-rays and other images that doctors could access in moments, round the clock. LibertyHealth chose Emageon, Inc.'s Intelligent Visual Medical System (IVMS) that allows physicians to access and share digitized medical content across an enterprise.
