Knowledge Management White Papers

Trust and Knowledge Management

Overview This paper attempts to determine the role of organizational and interpersonal trust for successful knowledge sharing within an organization, such that employees share quality knowledge, not just quantity. Furthermore, it seeks to determine whether trust is required as an antecedent for knowledge sharing. Finally, this paper determines if knowledge sharing leads to an increase in interpersonal trust, which leads back to an increase in knowledge sharing (or the intention to share knowledge in the future).
