A Weblog Recommender Using Machine Learning and Semantic Web Technologies

Overview The semantic web is an extension of the existing web that adds a layer of information semantically describing the data on the web. It is an emergent technology that has great potential. This paper discusses on the background to the semantic web followed by an introduction to one of the areas where it is starting to be introduced - weblogging. A Weblog or blog is a website that aggregates data from other, usually similar, websites. This paper goes on to propose a system that will make use of machine learning technologies to classify and recommend weblogs to users.
