Macromedia Case Study: Colorado State University
Overview Colorado State University in Fort Collins, which pioneered distance learning in the 1960s, has been shifting from videotape to online media. To streamline course development, CSU has standardized on Macromedia Dreamweaver and Flash. CSU uses Macromedia Dreamweaver and Flash for building instructional sites, and WebCT Campus Edition 3.8 as its learning management system (LMS). The university's Computer Training and Support Services (CTSS) runs several seminars throughout the year to train faculty in Dreamweaver and is now taking over hosting the WebCT workshops as well. CTSS also maintains a help desk for student and faculty questions.
