Dell Case Study: Tyco-Kunkle Valve

Overview Kunkle Valve, a leading manufacturer of quality safety and relief valve products for industrial and commercial applications, and a division of Tyco Valves & Controls, of Tyco International Ltd., developed a business-to-business (B2B) Web site and back-end infrastructure that enabled it to effectively conduct global e-commerce while improving operational efficiencies throughout its order entry and assembly process. Making use of key components of the Microsoft Solution for Supplier Enablement based on Microsoft's .NET Enterprise Servers product line, Kunkle Valve implemented a business solution that was extremely cost-effective, quick to deploy and non-resource intensive to the company's IT department.
