Reckitt Benckiser Cleans Up With Dell's Datacentre Solution

Overview Following a major corporate merger, Reckitt Benckiser wanted to ensure that its employees could access consistent, essential information about the business and its performance. The company has implemented a Dell/EMC CX600 Storage Area Network (SAN) that extracts data from a number of geographically diverse sources, relaying it to a newly established datacentre in Holland. The data is then fed to end-users using Proclarity analysis software or Siebel, depending on specific job requirements. The solution also comprises 58 servers (Dell PowerEdge 2650 and 6650), one gigabit Ethernet, and two Microsoft SQL Server Active Clusters, Microsoft Windows 2000 and Citrix software.
