On the Reverse Link Capacity of cdma2000 High Rate Packet Data Systems

Overview cdma2000 high rate packet data standard, also known as IS-856, is a next generation solution to high-speed wireless internet access. The IS-856 air interface incorporates several advanced techniques such as adaptive modulation and coding, turbo codes and incremental redundancy, Hybrid-ARQ, fast channel feedback information and multiuser diversity just to name a few. This paper presents an overview of the reverse link characteristics and its performance.
