Using UML for Describing Frameworks

Overview There is an UML extension called UML-F that is supposed to be able to cope with the specifics of framework creation. The UML-F describes several changes and extensions to UML. This paper discusses both the UML-F and the traditional alternative of UML and 4+1 views model of architecture for describing frameworks.
