CDMA Base Station Range Extension System (C-BRES)

Overview The Oberon Cellular CDMA Base station Range Extension System (C-BRES) is designed to facilitate rapid range extension of a Cellular CDMA BTS for the US Army CECOM. The C-BRES is a two part system which can quickly and economical provide additional coverage range in a particular direction. Unlike a repeater, the C-BRES uses a microwave link to a remote front end-eliminating oscillation issues. The C-BRES uses the A' or lower half of the B' prime as the microwave link, and can be shown to have minimal impact on the legacy analog channels operating therein.
