Proxima Technology Case Study: United Kingdom, Department of Work and Pensions

Overview In late 2001, the Global Partner team became aware that EDS urgently needed to find a solution that would allow them to meet the Department of Work and Pensions requirement to measure and report business application availability to individual end users across the entire network. Through GPS, the Centauri SLA monitoring solution from Proxima Technology was introduced to the Department of Work and Pensions. Proxima Technology was then able to demonstrate their ability to tap existing management tools to provide both a digital real time dashboard showing overall status, and the ability to drill down to individual users to measure availability.
