Overview In 2001, Fuji Photo Film Company Limited (Fujifilm) installed SAP Business Information Warehouse (BW) to help users make the most of the company's recent deployment of SAP R/3. Fujifilm moved to the powerful Intel Itanium 2 processor, gaining increased horsepower and avoiding the performance issues caused by the 32-bit memory limitations of Microsoft Windows NT. The new system exceeded performance goals, has proven reliable even under the most demanding workloads, and gives Fujifilm flexibility in adding capacity as demand increases. Query execution is up.
