Hickman Mills C-1 School District Chooses Sprint for Communications Upgrade

Overview Sprint has signed an agreement with Kansas City-based Hickman Mills C-1 School District to upgrade the school’s existing IP network infrastructure to allow for greater Internet speeds and increased bandwidth. Under the terms of the five-year, multimillion-dollar agreement, Sprint will connect the district’s 14 schools and district office over a fiber wide area network (WAN) utilizing a Cisco Gigabit Ethernet solution. By expanding network connectivity at each school, Hickman Mills is positioning the district to provide access anytime and virtually anywhere to teaching and learning resources.
