Unisys & Le Monde: Into a New World of Publishing

Overview Eric Azan, the technical chief editor of Le Monde, says that after an exhaustive evaluation and visits to newspapers in Madrid, London, Washington, Berlin, Rotterdam, as well as in France, the company decided the Unisys publishing system best fulfilled its need for the editorial staff to have full control over the workflow and to manage breaking news efficiently and autonomously. Instead of having a deadline system of editorial supervision of pages, Unisys was able to give Le Monde?s editorial staff a permanent control system.
