Bluetooth Baseband Controller for System on Chip Solutions
Overview This client is a leading developer of System-on-Chip solutions that enable communications, digital imaging and audio features to be incorporated into a variety of vertical markets including Voice over IP (VoIP), Digital Still Camera, MP3, PDA, GPS, and other consumer & business products. The client's SOC platform, which integrates different market specific combinations of applications in a low cost and low power ASIC had to be extended to provide for Bluetooth wireless functionality in ODM and OEM product designs. The Bluetooth wireless technology to be incorporated into the platform architecture had to provide for both ACL and SCO links. MindTree licensed its BQB certified, Bluetooth 1.1 specification compliant, Ethermind Baseband controller Core to the client as silicon proven synthesizable Verilog core with LC/LMP/HCI firmware.
