Archway Cookies Finds Automation Leads to Paperless Sales and Instant Data Access

Overview Archway, which claims a five percent share of the national cookie market, is a family-owned baking company with growth on its mind. To reach growth goals, company executives knew they needed to abandon the paper-based sales and tracking systems started in the 1930s in favor of new tools. In late summer they took delivery of 600 new Intermec mobile computers and printers. The Intermec 6210s have more memory and are faster than the previous units they used.
