Overview This paper provides an overview of how Java-based conduits for Windows operate and how to develop them with the JSync Suite. The JSync Suite is a component of the Palm OS Conduit Development Kit (CDK) for Windows from PalmSource, Inc. (The JSync Suite replaces the Conduit Development Kit, Java Edition, version 4.) It provides source files, sample code, libraries, and programs to help developers create Java-based conduits that run on Windows computers. Key to the success of the Palm OS platform, conduits are software objects that exchange and synchronize data between an application running on a desktop computer and a Palm Powered handheld.
