Overview The MyDoom virus is transported to users via an e-mail attachment from an infected machine containing the user's address. The machine became infected because the user of that machine opened the attachment. Once opened the virus sent a copy of itself to all the addresses it could find in the infected machine. The AP Intelligent Mail Switch with InboxMaster provides IT and users functionality to ensure incoming and outgoing e-mail infrastructure operation during high volume e-mail periods, including threats such as MyDoom.
