EMame: A MAME Port to EPOC Release 5 and Symbian Platform V 6.0 (Quartz)

Overview This paper describes how MAME was ported first to EPOC Release 5, and then from EPOC Release 5 to the Symbian platform v6.0 - Quartz platform. Although the Symbian platform v6.0 supports many more features than EPOC Release 5, the changes between EPOC Release 5 and the Symbian platform v6.0 were minimal at the source code level. EMame?s front end is quite small, and with a few pre-processor tricks both the EPOC Release 5 and the Symbian platform v6.0 version could be built from one source set.
