Migration With Multiple Operating Systems on HP Integrity Servers

Overview The HP Developer and Solution Partner Program (DSPP) provides members with access to migration services. Consultants work with you to analyze your application and operating environment and help you develop a porting strategy for moving your application to HP-UX for Intel Itanium 2. The ability to install several operating systems on a single workstation or server creates the need to migrate data and applications seamlessly. This paper addresses issues associated with migrating from 32-bit architecture to Intel Itanium 64-bit architecture, migrating from one operating system to another, and porting applications.
