SAM Product Line: A Brief Description of the Components
Overview This document lists the components of the SAM product line, briefly describing their business benefits, functions and architecture. Connected by target system interfaces (TSIs), SAM enables the management of user accounts and access privileges for diverse systems and applications. Systems that can be linked by standard agents range from operating systems (Unix, OS/400, Windows, zOS via RACF, TopSecret, ACF/2, etc.) to databases (Oracle, DB/2, etc.) to applications (SAP R/3, etc.). Any number of other systems can be integrated by flexible connectors such as LDAP-Konnektor.
