Overview The impetus for this paper is the problem with the Brio Insight plug-in for BAIRS II access. Brio appears to be working in good faith on the problems and it is expected that they will be solved before the summer. However, this is not the only product, which is Windows first or Windows-only; most vendors of enterprise-level software (such as PeopleSoft, BRIO, and other applications designed primarily for database access in large businesses) are heavily focused on Windows.
