Overview Transitel Communications offers fixed price; local and long distance telecommunication service to residential customers with a simple and unlimited calling plan that leverages the low cost of Voice Over IP technology. As part of an affiliate-based sales model, the system must maintain the master database for all customers. This database is used for electronic care, revenue recognition, commission payments, detailed reports for Agents, and a number of administration applications in conformance with GAAP standards. EAI Technologies, with its web services expertise, designed, developed and deployed Transitel’s sales portal and back-office environment providing a critical component of the infrastructure to roll out a new product and service quickly and seamlessly.
